thank you for the quick reply, I set up the ARS to reflect the route over ip trunks. I want to rout to 6613 and did the following 2 ars routes:
66xx through ip trunks
6613 through ip trunks
When I set the routing always alternative to 6613, it tells me that the directory number is not of an...
3300 #1- branch office, uses onboard vm, no ACD programming
3300 #2- main office, uses nupoint, ACD queues\agents
2 are connected via ip trunks
I have been tasked to set up some sort of routing after hours from our branch office 3300 #1 to the main office 3300 #2. In a perfect world I would...
thanks for the quick response, right now when the 3300 goes to critical alert, the console phone starts ringing to alert the receptionist. I cannot find where that is configured and at least I would like to disable that. Any idea?
I want to turn off the alarm alerting on the 5500 console software. I didn't see anything under the class of service and haven't used the console software other than installing and handing over to the receptionist. Our receptionist is easily alarmed and I would have fewer headaches if I could...
when the 3300 is lagging I see that there are several hundred device detection messages in the logs. The web interface of the 3300 also slows down to a crawl. I also get a few IP Network Congestion alerts.

thanks for the quick reply, so do you think that updating the 3300 will take care of the problem, or is it a design/capacity issue, or a hardware issue?
here is the output from a version command. Is it reasonable that this error is causing or contributing to the dropped calls?

I am getting some reports of dropped calls in our call center. They are all on 5324 sets with 3.0.0.5 firmware. I am getting a lot of these errors on the 3300around the time of the dropped calls and never when our call center is closed. The local telco has been hard at work on this issue for...
