Thanks for the ideas.
CP is not active. No Prime set assignments are active. The irad modem squeal is hear after 10 rings +- on the first line. It's not used, but as noted, defaults on.
I'll schedule a trip onsite and arrange for the test at the telcom interconnect box to isolate if it's CO...
I had the office admi test the following situations.
First call in always wroks as expected.
If First Call is active (Not ringing, but Off Hook), the second call rings the second line as desired.
If first call is still ringing, and the second call arrives, the second call gets one ring, and...
Thanks for the start. All lines work as far as calling out, or calling in as long as two lines are not ringing concurrently. The phone company hunt group routes calls to the 4 lines. (One 'public number'). That seems to work fine. If someone is using a line, the second call comes in normally...
The small office has 7 extensions. A change was made to disable a call pilot system that had been answering busy no answer calls. Now they want all extensions to ring on any of the 4 telco lines. All sets are set as Ring & Display. Fwd No Answer to N and Fwd on Busy to N.
The first inbound...
I've inherited a large number of reports, many with tables defined in the report that are not actually used in the report. I've been charged with changing the Data Location and having a lot of tables in the rport that are not needed just prolongs the agony of repointing the tables to the new...
I'm not sure how the question of the General/SysAdmin mailboxes got hijacked into a thread about other matters. I tried to be concise and to give adequate information in my first post with a descriptive thread title.
I set up the CCIS, the Call Pilot, established the mail boxes, Subscriber...
Sorry I ruffled feathers here. I understand my responsibilities to get the system right.
What I didn't know was the best way to use the SysAdmin MB as the private mailbox when a person called the Admin's extension, and the General for the 'Dial 0' calls.
I did this install as a favor to a Church, I'm a software programmer, not a professional phone system installer. I read all I could about the systems, worked to get the CICS, and the CP going, and while it likely took 10 times as long to get everything smooth as the Pros here, It's working well...
Hi,
I've set up a CICS, and a Call Pilot 100. All went pretty well. I have some confusion over the setup of the General Company MB, and the System Admin Mailbox. Here is the setup.
*The Admin Assistant uses extension 21.
*She is the System Admin of Phone & VM System.
*She wants to use the...
Thanks for the information on the 10 boxes. I used the wrong term for the Announce Only mailboxes. I should have used the term in the user guides, Informational Box. The ones that don't allow messages, and will hang up after the informational message completes. (Chapter 8 in the Callpilot Admin...
Thanks for all of the help, this is making sense!
One question I couldn't find the answer to. THe Call Pilot comes with 10 mail boxes. Does that 10 number include the General, System Admin and Announce Only boxes?
Thanks!
Thanks, the resellers so far haven't a clue (so I posted here). The Sales Bundle Part number, NTBU0722 (as well as others) is published by Nortel Networks, so I was really hoping that there was a resource to explode the bundle part number into the included components. The price of the bundle is...
In my quest to explore an update for an older 616 KSU system, I'm finding references for a CICS Callpilot bundle ntbu0722. I guess my web search skills are lacking as I can't find details on the incorporated components. Inbound Line capacity, Internal Sets etc. The cost of this bundle is...
Thanks for the tip. I'm going by there later this week to physically look at the setup. Where on the cabinet would I find the DS (or lack). On a sticker or someplace? I'd also like to verify the software version, if there is an easy way to do that. Just want to be complete in my recommendations...
