616 Upgrade Path to AutoAttendant and VM

I have a church who has contacted me about upgrading their system to include Auto Attendant and Voice Mail. It's a 6x16 Meridian cabinet, and M7208 (8) and M7324 (1) phones. They would like to retain the phones, interior wiring and simplify the update based on cost and installation risk.

I'm eager to hear opinions for a good path forward for these folks.

Does your cabinet support Disconnect Supervision? The cabinet should say DS on it. If you do have this, a Flash 2 voicemail with version 1.7 will work perfectly fine. If they do not want to spend the money, you can hook up a ATA with an answering machine to the phone system. I will not recommend this, but it will work for 1 call at a time.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going by there later this week to physically look at the setup. Where on the cabinet would I find the DS (or lack). On a sticker or someplace? I'd also like to verify the software version, if there is an easy way to do that. Just want to be complete in my recommendations to them.

Open the door to the cabinet there will be DS clearly printed on the name plate
