If anyone has run across this, I'd appreciate if you'd pass me the solution.
I am a new admin for our Citrix server and basically got thrown into the middle of it with no training or background in Citrix, so I am a total newbie. I have a situation where if you "open" "my computer", it tries to...
My phone is a 3903 and cwpd doesn't turn off the password or set the default pw.
I have flashed the phone several times and then ran cwpd with no results. Now I have another user with a 3903 saying that their phone is now asking for a password to access the call log.
Could this be something...
Once again, I am stumped - even my Nortel switch admin didn't know how to fix this one.
I have a 3903 phone with the call log password set.
The password is in the phone itself, not on the switch.
I swapped out the phone with another 3903 and could get to the call log. I plugged the old set...
Thanks for all the help. I was able to fool around in LD 49 and got it to work.
I printed out the idc table and found the DCNO number, which is the "Tree number".
I did the folowing:
LD 49
chg
idc
dcno 0
and then I was able to put the DID 9007 in the table and translate it to an internal number.
Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I have been tied up with IT projects the past few days.
We do have inbound translation in place. From what I have found the range is 90xx - 9199. All numbers not specifically assingned to an extension go to our pbx. I would like to use one of the numbers...
Hey guys,
First I want to say thanks for all the help I have gotten from this board. I surf here regularly and I have a folder stuffed with tips, tricks, and how to's.
I have newbie question. I am building a new analog (500) phone and have a DN assigned to it.
My question is, how do I...
Thanks for the offer, but I only have hyperterminal. I don't think I can use scripts. I will give the "OUT" command a shot and see how it works. I may just play it safe and OUT the codes one at a time.
Is it possible to out the entire table of long distance codes? Or do you have to out them one at a time? My boss wants to implement a new LD code scheme and I have to delete all existing codes. Thanks for your help.
Hey guys,
I have a new one. I have a 3904 set with all 6 keys programmed with DN's. I have a user requesting that 4 of the 6 DN's be removed. How do I delete DN's from each key and leave the key unprogrammed or null? And which LD is it done in?
Thanks for the help.
I am trying to enable tty's 01 and 03. I can dial into the switch using hyperterminal, but I can't type on the screen. I have enabled the tty's in the past by going into LD 37 and doing an enl tty #. Now I am getting an error each time I send the enl command at the console. It takes the command...
I took your advice and asked why. It turns out the numbers they want programmed are already in their pickup group, but their phones do not ring when someone calls the the numbers in the pickup group.
I think we have solved the problem, we are going to give them 3904 phones with 6 keys that can...
Thanks for the help.
I have quit asking why, and just try to figue out how to do the request. :-) My boss wants it done so I do it.
The extensions they want programmed are in use on other phones. I guess they want to be able to pickup calls for other users if the users are away from their phones.
I want to say thanks for all the help I've recieved so far. It has made a newbie's life much easier.
I have a new request from a user.
They want multiple phone numbers on a single key. The user has a 3903 with Key 0 and Key 1, each programmed with a phone extension. They want to add additional...
How would I set up a trace and track the set? I have only a few weeks experience with the phone system and haven't gotten much past changing the diplay names on the phones. This is quite a bit above my knowledge level. I was just thrown into this without any training.
