I manage a Nortel CS1000 system over 9 sites. Two of my sites are BCM50s. Over the years I have only had to maintain these systems with an occasional line move and name change. Now I need to add a new line to the system. I am pretty sure I can just copy an existing line with a new DN but, I have...
Thank you but CLS was SFA. I changed it to SFD to see if it would make a difference and it did not. Or am I wrong and SFA needs to be on the original extension (5200)
I'm sorry I have seen a couple of posts regarding this issue but none answer my Question.
I have a CS1000 and callpilot.
I have a switchboard 5200) that is forward at night to a security desk (5201), if the security desk does not answer I need them (5201) to get the voicemail.
This was setup...
I have a CS1000 at my main office and another at a remote site. Additionally, I have Option 11's at 5 other sites. I want to know if there is a log of the accounts that have logged into these switches and the changes they have made? I have Putty set up to log on my machine but that only records...
I have a 3904 with a module. I have an emergency phone that dials to a secondary line on the phone (key 03). I do not want this extension to roll anywhere just to ring. Is there a setting for that or do I need to create this line on it's own TN to accomplish this.
Thanks for the help!
How do I know what devices are using the licenses? I have looked in element Manager and it gives me IPs but I am using 10 licenses and there are only 9 IPs (1120 phones)listed.
Well it appears that none of my lines have been building because I do not have enough licenses. So now my question is: I have one license being taken up by a phone I tried to build but now says unequipped. How do I release that license.
Alright my last attempt, this may have beaten me.
I have built the TN and DN of my PBX.
I have programmed the phone with the proper IP, subnet mask, gateway etc.....
When I plug the phone into the network it wants the password to configure the phone.
The phone configure and I can assign it a...
Correct the phones are register on the local BCM. I need them registered on the remote PBX CS1000. I have built the phone on the Virtual TN and DN on the PBX. I don't know how to program the phone to get that information. The phone continually registers to the BCM which puts it in local mode...
No I definately found that the phones are set up on the PBX at another location. Much different programming and that I'm a little more familar with. I'm working on them now and hope to report sucess soon. Thank you.
The lines are all set to pool. I am unable to get to the feps log. I have to assume at this point that the auto build was the wrong approach to setting up this phone. The other lines on the system also alway show offline and do not list IP addresses where the two phones I just built show online...
Hello,
I know very little about my sites with BCM. I attempted to install two 1120E IP phones at a location with little success. I put the phones in place entered the password and they auto configured with DNs. However the phones are in local mode and do not dial properly. I tried to copy a...
Thank you. I have the phone programmed and working I just can't seem to hook it up to call pilot. It will not dial using the msg button nor light to indicate a message.
Well I am obviously missing something. What programming do I need in the switch to connect to the 1120E? It just sits there trying to connect to the signaling server. I assume I need create a phone but what do I use as a TN?
