i was having some trouble with my dvdrw drive: (it would not play dvd's properly) so i contacted the manufactures of the drive and of the software i got with it and they both told me to install new firmware for my drive... i successfully did this, and restarted.
after doing so i got a messege...
when i turn on the hp laserjet 6L is makes a loud noise, kind of like a long beeb but a bit rougher... why is this happening? and is there anything i can do about it?

ok... the bios sees 200gb, win xp pro sees 130gb but win xp pro sp2 sees 180gb (or something close to that number)... i have loaded sp2 onto it but i will see if its possible to recover that extra space... not that its extremely vital mind you lol, 180gb seem to be enough... but thats not the...

(at startup when laptop stops at c:/)

then i then switch to my win98 boot disk where my batch.inf file is located...

i have created a, what i thought to be, "perfect batch file"... i copy the win98 files and then copy the batch file from a floppy to the same folder so it reads it as it is in setup, unfortunatly, not so far into the setup a window pops up saying "the file 'sucatreg.exe' on windows 98 second...
i'm now creating a IBM ServeRAID Support CD via an iso image that is located on the ibm website... i've read on another post that this solved there problem...
