is there a way to change a 1924 A to a 1924 EN??

I think as long as there is enough memory then its just the software image that needs upgrading. You will need to download the image from CCO.

i cant locate the file i need! do you know a link? i've searched google and been on the cisco site, but unfortunatly left empty handed!

Unless you have download privileges you will only be able to download the Standard image (version 9.00.04). The Enterprise images are there but you need the correct privileges to see and download them.

You need an account with Cisco - I am not sure of the specifics but generally a Cisco reseller has these privleges. Other than that you can ask your reseller to get the file for you?
