Yah, I need to make c: to some smaller partitions, I also want to try something free, cause it's friend's machine, I dont want to spend my money on it.
New PC with win XP, the driver is about 200GB, there are two partitions on it, c: about 180G, D: about 20G, wanna divide c: to several smaller partitions, say 40G, which software should I use without reinstall the whole system? Any idea will be apprieciated.

I restored ntoskrnl.exe from \servicepackfiles\ntoskrnl.exe, and now windows seems start ok but keep restarting at the end of the processing bar.and i got the message like following:
stop:c0000218{registry file failure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file)...
the network card is configured as auto detect, dhcp client service is running and there's no firewall at all.
maybe i should get another network card for it?

I used CTR-ALT-DEL, click task manager, there's one message window poped up, it told me that one err occurs, i checked the log file, it was said like this :

Actually, I found couple network adapter drivers that should not exist on the computer, but I cannot uninstall it, when i try to uninstall it told me that those device maybe a boot device, so fail to uninstall. Finally, I disabled and enabled them again, they all gone. now it works ok. Thanks a...
I have couple machines runs WIN2k Pro, when I want to start explorer.exe, it seems not work at first, and I click it several times, then after about one minute, the explorer windows poped up one by one, any guys can figure out what's the problem is?
