ntoskrnl.exe crashed

I have one machine use win2k, it cant reboot cause the ntoskrnl.exe file corrupted, what can I do without reinstall the whole system?

It dose not work on my case.

I restored ntoskrnl.exe from \servicepackfiles\ntoskrnl.exe, and now windows seems start ok but keep restarting at the end of the processing bar.and i got the message like following:
stop:c0000218{registry file failure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file)
\systemroot\system32\config\SOFTWARE
or its log or alteernate
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete, contact your system administrator or technical support group

Any idea?

yes,it works,I copied the software file form repair folder,and now the computer can start, but all the software i installed before was gone

Go back with the registry tool and do all the Hives. While written with XP as the focus, this article describes the entire process:

bcastner,thanks for help. but it doesnt work for w2k, I went through the steps, but there's no system volum folder
