You could try connecting a different modem up, if you have a second computer or one of your own. Also, try to run a line from the phone box outside straight to the modem. That could also tell you whether or not it's in the house. Leigh

Did his suggestion work? In most connection boxes, there's a place to check for "automatically connect." This depends on your OS, of course. Leigh

When I click on the paperclick for an attachment in OE 6 and put the mouse on the name of the attachment, it turns black and I'm unable to click on it. There's no error msg, I'm just unable to open it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks :)
