After Startup Dail Up Runs Automatically

Hi

After windows starts my dial up starts automatically, I have looked in services etc and found nothing that should start it, also checked for Virus's and Spyware - nothing rasauto.exe starts running but not sure what this is.

Anyone any clues - I've seen a few reports of this problem on the web but with no definitive answer

Chris,

Do you have ZoneAlarm? I've read the lastest version can cause this. rasauto.exe is associated with ZA.

Hi Again

I found the problem, it was a shortcut to another PC's shared folders that seemed to start the dial up.

Deleted the shortcut and it seems to have sorted itself out.
