When I click on the paperclick for an attachment in OE 6 and put the mouse on the name of the attachment, it turns black and I'm unable to click on it. There's no error msg, I'm just unable to open it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks :)

more info?
what is the attachment?
Is it an EXE or something different.

You may not have a program that will open the document...
for example if you dont have acrobat reader you cant open a PDF file.

Is it only one file on one email or does this happen with multiples?

More info please....will try to help.

Kimber,

Sorry for the delay. I have tried to contact the customer but she hasn't returned my calls. I appreciate your attempt to help me and will get the information as soon as possible.

Hello, Kimber,

The only info I could get is:

OS: Wind98
Email: Outlook Express 6

She also said that it happens to every attachment. I had her send one to me and I could open it find with no problem. She gets no error message or anything. She says that it just turns the title black and when she clicks on it, nothing happens. My thought is that she should uninstall 6 and go back to 5, but other thoughts would definitely be appreciated.

Thanks,
Stacie

good advice joejz....give it a try Stacie...see if that does the trick. If not, post again and we will keep at it.

Kimber & Joe,

Thanks for your help guys. I ended up with 3 users with this problem. There was nothing I could do to make it work and my boss doesn't like us to go too "deep" with a customer, so I referred them to microsoft support and told them I believed it would be better to downgrade to 5 or 5.5. Haven't heard from them in a couple works; I'm hoping that's a good thing :)

Thanks again for your help;
Stacie
