    I agree, makes no sense at all. It worked fine for 8 years and then the other day it was just gone. It is just the one company and I just tried it in Sample Company and it doesn't work either. DjangMan, will I lose any data if I try your suggestion? Should I do a back up first?

    So far I have had no luck. Two computers in the office allow posting and two don't. I can log in using my ID under one computer and it works but the other doesn't. Both are running Windows 2000.

    I tried to create a new year in ACCPAC but I keep getting an error that says the following "Incorrect Procedure". You cannot create a new year until all other users have left ACCPAC G/L and all other ACCPAC G/L windows are closed" I am the only ACCPAC user and I do not have any windows open...

    When I log into ACCPAC I receive a prompt telling me that "earlier processing was not completed and to check with the system admin before proceeding". Our system admin does not know what this means. If I log in under someone else's account on the same computer then I do not get this error...

    We cloned the ACCPAC datafiles and did a butil -recover followed by butil -load which solved the problem.

    Database error (operation=DELETE, error=4 Anyone know what this is? I posted yesterday and got some help regarding some problems I was having creating a new year in the GL. I did a back up and ran a new year again and the above error is what I got.

    Yeah, that's what I thought. We did a backup at noon, I did a bunch of work from noon on, so that means all that work will have to be redone right?

    It's the corporate series, GL version 4.2. I thought it said Error code 4 but I clicked it off before making sure. Is there anyway to find out what error I received? Anyway to run an error report?

    ACCPAC 4.2 and Crystal Reports 9

    Turns out it was a font problem within the Crystal Report itself, I edited it in Crystal 8 then opened it up on the other computer in Crystal 9. Now I am only left with the problem of not being able to open up the receipt batch list using XP, I will try to re-install as per your suggestion.
