The Post Button in my A/P invoice Batch list has just gone missing?? I can print a batch, delete a batch, create a new batch etc.... but the post button isn't there. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I have closed ACCPAC down, had someone else at work log in using their password and it's the same from their machine as well.

Login as ADMIN, go to Administrative Services, and check your Security Group.

So far I have had no luck. Two computers in the office allow posting and two don't. I can log in using my ID under one computer and it works but the other doesn't. Both are running Windows 2000.

Windows 2000? Are you joking?

What version of Accpac is this? Are the programs installed locally? If so, are they all the same?

4.2 and yes, they are all installed locally and are the same.

Delete _c.ism and _p.ism in <shared data>\user\<your user>

Then it doesn't make sense. If the programs are the same, and there are no UI profiles (which are centrally configured), then it should work the same everywhere.

Did it used to work OK?
Is it the same in all companies, i.e., Sample Company?

I agree, makes no sense at all. It worked fine for 8 years and then the other day it was just gone. It is just the one company and I just tried it in Sample Company and it doesn't work either.

DjangMan, will I lose any data if I try your suggestion? Should I do a back up first?

You'll lose your user specific printer settings and user specific screen customizations (column widths, etc). No accounting data will be lost.

Those files can become corrupted from time to time resulting is unusual behaviour.

Thanks DjangMan.

Tuba2007, yes, I was joking, I just wrote windows 2000 for the fun of it, I am actually running XP.
