I have a merlin messaging rel 2.5 that was installed 6 months ago . It was used for mail boxes on DID lines. Everything is working fine. Now the customer wants auto atten to answer all incoming lines. they have 3 T1's in the system.I belive pool 70 is being used for incoming lines. Trunks...

I moved the outbound dialing prefix from system short codes to user restriction short codes, because there are two companies working on the same system, to allow dialing out on Line Gr 1 by dialing 9, and...
OK, one thing I noticed...
The short codes I mentioned for forwarding were on the individual phone.
I just noticed a short code for the system that is as follows:
#*07*N# TN N Forward Call Line Gr 0
Does this need to be modified to Line Gr 1 ?
I checked the ICR, Line Gr 1 for that, which is what the restriction was set to.
I then checked the Forwarding Short Code and that was set for Line Gr 0.
When I try to change that to Line Gr 1 it reverts back to 0.
I assumed it was associated with this originally so I revised the forwarding...
OK, well it worked but I got a trouble report.
It seems that an individual has call forwarding turned on, and with the changes I made to add user restrictions, if you call the extension internally you get forwarded correctly. But if you call the DID for that individual, you go into voicemail...
