Well, the customer finally loaded the software onto a new and stand alone server and that seems to have fixed the issue. Although, we still do not know why there was an issue to begin with. But for that customer, case closed!! Thanks to all who responded, it is greatly appreciated.

Ok, thanks to everyone who responded to this and I know it has been a while. The answer appears to have been, by loading the new element manager software that comes with the latest patches, the backup worked just fine. I quess that is something to keep in mind should anyone else ever experience...
Well, I am gonna have customer load the new element manager and see what happens then, I will report back as soon as I get the results from that.

We were trying to back it up to the PC that had all Bcm folder files on, it would not work on my laptop either. I will recommend updating the EM, and see if that works.

Yes, I patched the system with all of Nortels "latest and greatest" for the customer. It's at that point we noticed we could not get a backup. I just wonder if something got deleted during the install or prior to, that hurt the system

The EM was downloaded from the BCM after the upgrade was complete, I had to in order to access te BCM with the 4.0 software, are you saying to do it again over the exisitng one?

I have upgraded the switch with the latest and greatet patches. Had Nortel look at and rebuild the server pc via Webex. After 5 hours of dinking around, it still would not load. Nortel has suggested moving it to another pc and wee if problem still exists. Oh, the customer sure loved that one...

Sounds to me like you are hearing an AA greeting and then the CCR greeting after. Which is one didnt get saved properly or re recorded to fit the new greeting..ie AA is new, CCR is old!! Check that!!

When you just dial the DN, it just rings, but when I go through the AA is DOES go into que like it should.
I guess my question was a bit premature but once I got back on site and tried it it was fine.
