you can still get the all in wonder in AGP format with tons of ins and outs. The thing to be careful with when using AGP is have alot of ram. Too much ram can cause memory conflicts when using older ATI agp cards. I have one and it works fine with 512 megs.
The all in wonder 9600 agp all in...
HD's and optic drive installed properly.
When installing, I get to the partition screen at which point I partition one of the HD's. I go to install win xp on the C partition but get the following message:
"To install win xp on the partition you selected, setup must write some startup files...
I dont think this is a bios problem, but I could be wrong.
I think this is a whiring prob. you should check the the wiring harness for the hdd access light, power light, power button etc to macke sure they are connected to the proper header on the mobo. You'll have to get a copy of the mobo...
I think the card is 5X if memory serves. bios only has 4X & 8X settings, and i have it set to 4x.
Now I'm having another problem: I disabled the monitor driver and monitor loses signal at boot up. I see windows logo, then "no signal."
bios works ok, safe mode, here i come....
Phardon me !!
found this excellent cite on interleave options. the only thing is that it doesn't explain 8-way interleave.

Also, check the apeture size for the new graphics card. 9800 pro card had min of 128, so, when you disconnect from vga cable from card and reconnect to mobo vga connection, you may need to reset the apeture to it's lowest setting until you get a new card.
I have a 9800 pro also having trouble getting drivers installed on xp pro 32. I thought I could disable windows 9800 drivers, but that does not seem to work after installing ati drivers but that does not work.
ati agp all in wonder 9800 pro is the graphics card.
resetting the apeture (in bios) to 128 fixed the problem, but now the monitor does not show the edges of the desktop so that I can see only the top edge of the start button. Also, res is set at lowest (4xx X 6xx) and increasing makes icons...
Do I want a 2, 4 or 8 Way DRAM Bank interleave in the bios?

WoooHoooo, problem solved: hd's jumpered properly, it was the cd/dvd that was jumpered as master while attached on the ide cable as slave.
BenQ 1670 optical ~
update: hd is jumpered as cable select enabled. Maxtor quickview pata 133 drive. jumper schematic on the device has a dedicated slave setting (hd as master). jumper schematic online indicates a CLJ setting. what is a CLJ setting?
connections are correct as hd master and cd/dvd slave (hd on end, cd/dvd on middle); could be jumpers, but the
*%$&@!^ verbiage with the product (+ the online documentation) is vague and reads duplicitously.
