Has anybody configured the Lantronix UDS-10 device server to work with the Definity over the terminal port and then access with ASA? I have a Precidia on my Definity in Denver that works great. Can't seem to get the Lantronix unit to work though. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The agent names in DSM Wizard, for example, are not easy to decipher. Names such as CaiUxOs, for example, are somewhat obvious, but even then it's hard to know exactly what each agent is and it's scope. I wanted to find out if someone (or CA) has a document that details each agent.
TIA,

Dom,
Thanks. That's the conclusion I've been coming to myself. I did manage to grab the CleverPath Portal Getting Started Guide, but that's it. We're on UC release 3.0 GenLevel 0211. I'm trying to understand if it's possible to extend the portal to prvide portlets for things like...
The biggest problem my predecessors had was with SNMP. My understanding is that CA has community strings hard-coded in the product which wreaks havoc when trying to alter the default 'public' password for managed objects. Certain admin procedures appear to overwrite localized community strings...
Forumers,
I'm new to the Unicenter NSM product but have been certified and involved in OpenView for many years. As I begin down the Unicenter path I'd like to hear from the forum members regarding the pitfalls of deploying Unicenter, and how to best avoid them. My company has invested heavily...
Phoneman2,
No, it's not the first T1 in my system. It's connected to a Cisco 3640 VWIC to provide IP voice calls. This is a pilot project, so I'm just using the TAC to make test calls. No AAR or route-pattern stuff is configured yet. I can complete a call just fine, but it dumps after 3...
Hi!
I've just completed setting up a DS1 TN767E card with a 24 member trunk group. When I make a test call using the Trunk Access Code the call only stays up for 3 minutes then drops. It only happens when I initiate the call. I've reviewed the timeout values in the trunk group...
I'm working on a pilot project to get our internal voice traffic moving across our private ATM network. I've installed a TN767E, setup a trunk group with 10 members following Cisco's configuration documentation to the letter. I found information on this forum on how to pinout a Cat 5 from my...
Dimas,
Your pinout information in this post was the ONLY place I found accurate information for connecting the PBX to a Cisco router. I know your post was directed at a CSU/DSU, but it worked for my router as well.
Most helpful.
Thanks!

I just added a new DS1 TN767E card to cabinet 1 in slot 12 on my G3. When I do a 'list config all' the card is displayed. I created a new trunk group for this card and am trying to add members to it. When I attempt to add member 01A1201 I get the message 'Must use administered DS1 or UDS1...
I am trying to use an asterisk for a pause in my speed dial lists between the number being dialed and the long distance trunk access code. There needs to be a 3 to 5 second pause before the switch out pulses the 3 digit access code in order for the LD carrier to accept the code. When the line is...
Steve,
Thanks. I checked the environment variables and added exporting to my script. No luck. Same problem. In fact, it seems to be getting confused about the last ftp statement, in this case the eoj. If I remove the eoj and place the terminating backtick on the bye command above it, I get...
Okay UNIX gurus, I'm at a loss. I've written a /bin/sh script that places ftp commands into a 'for' loop that appears thusly:
for FILES in `ls directory/`
do
`ftp -n server <<eoj
user name password
lcd localdir
cd remotedir
binary
put $FILES
bye
eoj`
done
The script works just fine, but after...
I'm working on a project to use the TN760D circuit pack in an E & M configuration with our Cisco router VIC (Voice Interface Card) to provide toll bypass in a 'hybrid' VoIP solution.
First question: Has anybody out there done this?
Second question: How do I link the TN760D card's 4 ports to the...
