    Word 97

    There must of been something conflicting with office 97. I removed office 97, rebooted and went through the registry to manually remove whatever was left from the install. Rebooted and reinstalled office 97 and then it was working fine.

    Is there a registry tweak that will allow you to set the priority for a process below normal? When I click on in task manager I always get error message operation can't be performed access denied. I am logged on as the administrator on the console.

    Yes it is using TCP/IP. I can ping the computer name of the windows 95 so I know it is resolving the name on the DNS server. But I can not see it from the XP pro machine.

    There were not errors in this particular que until I setup this printer on the server like you stated but now when I print from the client to this printer I get error in the que status error printer. I can print a test page directly from the server. But not from the client.
