Sorry but you are missing the point of my original post... I am using this COM object to bridge sessions between classic ASP & .NET, the standard .NET session structure does not do this so your suggestion is out of context.
Either way I have completed a work-around for this by passing the...
The first code chunk is provided by the MSDN team when they developed this component. I know they are mixing HTML & code but it does work as a .NET page just fine.
In the second chunk I forgot to include the declaration for s_SessionText but that doesn't make a difference with it in place...
I am working on a site that has both classic ASP and .NET and have found the MSDN "SessionPage" utility to help bridge classic -> .NET session data. I have it up and running fine on my site using the demo code but am having trouble getting it to work with my own pages.
In the demo the test...
Thanks Mirtheil, but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. I tried stopping both engines on the production server and the laptop, copying the files over then restarting both. Each table still does not have a file path under the properties page, and the items still show "no file".
I tried...
On the server it comes back with 996 rows, which include the 3 default items (File, Field & Index) as well as 1 row for every table in the database. On the laptop I only see the 3 default items.
The problem is that our ERP & accounting apps use the old version and are working very happily...
Hello! I am trying to put together a "mirror" of our existing Pervasive v8 database so I can develop an application with "real" data and not cause any issues.
Here's what I've done:
- I installed the Pervasive engine & hotfixes to my laptop (PCC shows v8.00.114.000).
- Copied the data files (2...
I'm trying to troubleshoot some issues with the desktop messaging client on one users PC and hoped somebody may have some insight for me.
We have 2 unified messaging seats on our CallPilot 150 attached to a MICS with v7.1 software. The Desktop Messaging software I was given with the CP was...
Thanks Brian, I gave your idea a shot but it didn't shake anything loose unfortunately.
silver987: We've had a few power down incidents (UPS failed, power outage over a few hours) in the last 6 months and have not yet had a problem with it losing settings... I'll pass this by the management...
Thanks guys! I'll try the power cycle early tomorrow AM, if that doesn't clear it I'll call in my vendor (I'm not comfortable with reprogramming the whole system!).
P.S. I can't run a backup because we don't have the RAD or NRU software :( (8x24 with Flash)
Recently I was told that our MOH is no longer working, but the background music (F86) on each handset is fine. I've checked system programming and On Hold is set to "Music" and Background Music is set to "Y".
When I call in from my cell phone, or call another set internally and put the call on...
Thanks for all of the tips, here's what I've done/checked now:
RikRogers:
I can't duplicate the problem on demand, when I call in to line 3 and ask the receptionists to let it ring, it always goes 5-6 rings before going to voicemail. The problem occurs both when the lines are busy, and when...
lugerlover:
Can you give a bit more detail on assigning a line as private to a set? I'm assuming that by doing this to line 3 it would remove it from appear/ring from every set on the system, then I could reassign it to the 3 receptionists... ?
countrytime:
Remotely possible but none of the...
I've checked about 10 of the most likely phones (we have about 50) and so far none of them have appearance/ring set for any lines, except for the 3 reception phones...
Is there an easy way to scan for which phones have appearance/ring set, or do I have to go extension by extension for this?
Thanks for the tip countrytime, I've checked each line:
Line1: Answer = Y, Table = 1, Rings = 5
Line2: Answer = Y, Table = 1, Rings = 5
Line3: Answer = Y, Table = 1, Rings = 5
Line4: Answer = Y, Table = 1, Rings = 5
Line5: Answer = N, Table = 1, Rings = 0
All lines past #5 are set the same as...
Over the last month or so I've been receiving complaints from our receptionist team that on occasion one of our external lines will dump an incoming caller to voicemail after 2-3 rings, instead of the normal 6. Typically this happens on line 3, but it has also occurred on line 1...
The modem is 802.11b/g... I did actually try forcing it to b mode only, along with forcing each device to different channels (1, 6, 11) and there were no substantial differences.
I'm waiting to see if he will let me buy some 802.11n gear from DLink and see if that helps, worst case I can...
I'm hoping someone can provide some insight here, I'm pulling my hair out with this wireless network!
The Hardware:
- Sympatico DSL Modem with wireless, WEP128 enabled, no MAC filters
- Linksys 54G PCI cards, one in each of two clone PC's
- Sony Vaio laptop
- Toshiba Qosmio laptop
The Layout...
Unfortunately I've tried that and the max volume isn't much better at all. There aren't any system settings that I can see to boost the volume, nor are there any pots or adjusters on the flash box for changing it either.
Any other ideas?
Recently one of my users reported that he found the volume on recorded messages to be very low when remotely checking his voicemail on the flash unit.
I called in from home after-hours to confirm, I recorded a message in my own mailbox then called back in to play it back. The volume of the...
