Is there any way to see if the number of Voice mail ports are exceeded and how often they were exceeded. I am trying to determine if I need to purchase more VM ports
I was thinking of IP primarily because I have buildings that have network connections either through a cisco access point or a 100mb fiber cable. The underground phone cables are damaged. 95% of my campus is analog.

My old Northern Telecom System notified users of Voicemail messages by a studder tone. This system notifies using a ring back. This is anoying but and my users hate it. Is there another option for analog phones for voicemail notification?
My consultant states that the service is started under a specific user - Avaya. She states that it has to be that way if you have a raid server because the service will not start if you lose a disk. This doesn't sound right to me.
Any comments????? I wanted the service to be under the local user.
