I'll check out your site and pore over the LiveReport discussions in OTKC.
Does anyone know a repository that contains basic LiveReports for usage statistics? Not the canned reports included in a core install. Maybe a location in the Knowledge Center or other websites that might be helpful?
Before I begin writing a series of basic reports, I just wanted to check if...
You're stunned that support mentioned I could manipulate the database? Sure they mentioned it's not supported, but if I get the right person often times they assist in manual database updates. I just hate how they have the answer and won't fully disclose the solution I'm looking for. Rather...
I opened a ticket with OT and their response was that it can be done but you must "hack the database and manually update the workflow tables for all of the archived workflows".
Does anyone know exactly what must be changed for my WF Custom Status View to be available on archived WF's?
I applied a Status View form to a workflow and it works great, but only seems to be accessible on a going forward basis. Is there any way we can access this view for archived workflows?
If not, know of any hacks or url syntax I could use to make this work?
Thanks for the help....
I've developed a WebReport with LiveReport source and need to pass multiple parameters when executing the WebReport.
These parameters need to be pulled from a table - and usually I would use ADN to achieve this. In this case we don't own ADN so I need to get creative.
Anyone know if...
livelink 9.7.1 with forms 9.7.1, web forms 9.7.2, adn 3.2.0
i have a form template with 2 adn table key lookups. these attributes perform lookups against a table within the livelink schema.
'vendor name' and 'vendor number' correspond with each other. they are each columns contained within...
Performing core xml export from 9.7.1 for import to Content Server 10.
Export contains dates, but import will not pass through 'date modified'. Just got off the phone with OT and they said it can be done but we have to hire Global Services for them to provide the parameter.
I'm a partner with...
cool. i like the footer trick - that's all i needed.
now if i can get rid of the pointless white gap i'll be happy. if OT has a fix i'll let you know.
thanks
white space should not be there if no appearance is being used.
when appearance is used, it creates the white space. i just want to get rid of it. for example, browse to users/groups - i bet there is no white space under copyright info. that's exactly how it should be, whether appearance is...
appearance status: enabled
appearance layout: layout 3: top center, bottom center
header contains the html below. my header works great, but under the footer there's a good amount of white space available, making the scroll bar accessible. i've opened a case with OT in the meantime but if...
ive added a global appearance to distinguish between dev/qa/prod
its a simple header at the very top of the screen
ive expirimented with every layout possible but i still have this huge white space below the livelink 9.7.1 footer and copyright information. meaning, my users can keep scrolling...
i have under 100 users and everywhere is installed on my 9.7.1 front-end server. web services must also be installed so for consistency purposes i have this on my admin and front-end server. if you have a large number of users targeting your server, you may want to scale horizontally and have...
yeah, that's what i'm using. i don't know how i missed it before i posted.
going through this now, we're doing a staged upgrade. they keep referring to the sql 2008 client software being installed on the livelink servers. i'm researching now. shouldn't this be included in mdac on my 2008 r2...
currently running les 9.7.1 with sql 2005
needing to upgrade my db to sql 2008
this will at least get me content server 10 ready when the time comes
any of you seen decent documentation on this? ive looked across the champion toolkit on the knowledge center but havent found what i was looking for.
within hr, we have 100,000 folders
a total of 113,000 documents are contained across these folders
the documents are mostly pdfs which are sometimes difficult to read and can not be ocr'd
we are in an effort to update cats/atts against all folders/documents
currently we are manually updating...
