9.7.1 and sql 2008

currently running les 9.7.1 with sql 2005
needing to upgrade my db to sql 2008

this will at least get me content server 10 ready when the time comes

any of you seen decent documentation on this? ive looked across the champion toolkit on the knowledge center but havent found what i was looking for.

yeah, that's what i'm using. i don't know how i missed it before i posted.

going through this now, we're doing a staged upgrade. they keep referring to the sql 2008 client software being installed on the livelink servers. i'm researching now. shouldn't this be included in mdac on my 2008 r2 server already?

Client Software is usually things like Query Analyser and Enterprise Manager etc.
