writing a web report which ultimately returns the nodeid of a document. we need to return the document name, not nodeid.

how can we associate a nodeid with a document name? this may not be web reports specific.

any ideas?

dtree.dataid is the id
dtree.name is your name

This is one of the most basic premises of the livelink schema

select id,name, parentid, subtype form dtree where dataid =<put the id from a hyperlink >

If you obtain the schema by signing an NDA with OT you can understand livelink much better

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

Hi,

If you have a nodeID, in your WebReport you can use the NODEINFO:NAME subtag when the dataID is the content of your data tag - this means you can look up the name of the node without having it in the data source.

Cheers,
Darren.
