Ok, so I installed the CI card, but the MICS will not display IB CID until the line is picked up.
What is going on?
The MICS has a solid style software cartridge, with the following ID. NA-MICS 1.1 V12.3
I did order the 6.1 software, but the cartridge has no place to put it in. What am I missing?
Ok, its been a while since I upgraded a working MICS software version.
Moving from 5.0 to 6.1 and replacing a DS card with a CLID card.
Anything special need to be done?
Other then power down, swap and power up?
I have a personal customer that I am trying to wrap up the install of a used MICS, and I am having a hard time with getting CID to come up on IB calls to every set. Lines are POTS.
What am I missing?
All that they are getting is the ID of the individual line displayed on their sets.

I have been in the phone/telecom industry since 1995. Did it in the Air Force, did it as a contractor and now with a provider. I do the PBX stuff as a way to make extra money for my family and do admit I am sort of rusty on some things.

Aside from all the side comments, I am certified on the IPO, in 2007 from Jenne Distro in Cleveland. They never showed us this at the class.

Yes. I am doing work for a company that had it installed in 06. They had it connected to their LAN at one time, but have since removed it. Attempted to reconstruct the connection, but that did not work.
Static IP on my PC, can't ping to the 42.1, 42.2. Their network IP is 192.168.11.0 network...
OOk, so I tried to login to the IP Office, and the default 192.168.42.1 or .2 is no good. Is there any way ot craft in and get the IP? Or any other way?
