OOk, so I tried to login to the IP Office, and the default 192.168.42.1 or .2 is no good. Is there any way ot craft in and get the IP? Or any other way?

Downloading it now.
I run with a DTE cable everywhere. I use it to log into Adtran and cisco equipment.

as matt says it will broadcast regularly. it will even show avaya something or other next to the correct IP.

Now correct me if I am wrong, remember I am new at this..
But in Manager can't you just set Unit/Broadcast Address to 255.255.255.255 and it will look for TCP broadcasting from the IP Office?
Of course this would only work if your IPO is on the same physical network or VLAN.
