Morning - just working with 2 laptops now (it's easier to test things when you have a command prompt) there's definitely a routing issue - the office router cannot ping the laptop ethernet port (the one that's connected to it via VPN) - so the phone definitely won't work.
Looks like if I want...
Interesting - having connected from home using a second laptop, I can't even ping the host laptop's gateway IP address (it seems to default to 192.168.137.1 on the host) let alone ping anywhere the otherside of the VPN. The second laptop gets a valid IP address from the host (192.168.137.x) and...
yup - that's about it
Testing today has been made trickier by only having a guest wifi on a VLAN to connect to - I'll give it another go from my home connection tomorrow.
Ok - first off, the default response will be upgrade/replace it - we really don't want/need to upgrade/replace the phone system as other than this "feature", it's all working fine.
What I'm trying to achieve - and I believe it to be configuration within the Win10 facilitator is to enable our...
It's "my" system. I'm jack of all trades and administration of the phone system is just one aspect of my role.
We didn't upgrade to V5 because it would've started incurring licence costs for IP endpoints that are not required under V4.2.4 ... but we do have a few SIP licences which we've been...
Ok - it was something to do with the server the SIP trunk was pointing at.
After a conversation with the SIP supplier I changed the trunk to a different IP address and the ringing tone feedback has returned.
System - IP Office 406v2 running version 4.2(4)
- SIP trunks via voip.co.uk
Problem -
When a caller dials any number all they get is silence even though our phones are ringing. If we pick up the local handset then the call is connected.
I'm not sure if this is an issue with our system, our...

The link I've got (from searches and matches the above) is:
ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/4_2GA_Builds/ADMIN/ADMIN4_2_23.exe
but I guess that other users in different countries could get a different server/download
No - my search isn't broken - I've used the file in that link - downloaded twice so far - the setup program reports an error when trying to access files in the voicemail cab ...
Hi
Not sure if anyone can help - the Avaya download for Admin4_2_23 seems to have a corrupt cab file for Voicemail Lite.
I cannot find a copy of this anywhere else in the office on on the interweb ...
Does anyone have an old CD they could grab the files off for me please?
Thanks - and Happy...
It's just a list of numbers ... from multiple companies...
I was just hoping there would be a way to get the system to check the "block list" rather than having to create a new ICR for each number - sort of like a Directory entry - but for blocked numbers...
IP Office 406(2) v 4.2.4 & VM Lite.
We get a number of junk calls in from known numbers. I'm hoping I can create a list of numbers that will route any call from these numbers to a blackhole ...
I know I can do it individually with CLI but I'm starting to get quite a few - so would be better if...

However, always curious - what's the members view on a replacement to the 5610...
I'm wanting to move our lines over to SIP - including a fax number within the DDI - our SIP provider has suggested that we upgrade our IPO to R5 to enable T38 for the fax ..
So downloaded R5_0_26 and installed alongside existing manager software on the PC.
Run the Upgrade Wizard - it finds my...
