I have a CM 5.2.1 on a G450, with a S830D with local messaging, is there a way for making changes to multiple or all mailboxes in bulk, specifically chaning mail retention times for all mailboxes?
Many thanks Guys, that is the way I was heading with this, I take it you cannot create a dummy extension without using up a license as you can on CM? It seems there are no spare licenses available to create a H323 extension. When I add the DDI to the fowarding destination, I get no match found...
Seeing as my job is to support 15 CM installations around our group, I think that means I am not a end user. We just happen to have 1 B5800, which I am struggling with, so thought maybe this being a Technical forum for sharing technical knowledge, that maybe someone might be able to help me out!
If I alias a station as a 4620 so that I can use it with 1 x the message button on the handset stops working??? CM 6 or 5.2, 1616 or 9608 handsets. Anyone seen this before? Fix?
I think I may have deleted an ARS sring, is there something an entry needed to route the calls? Why would the 3xx extensions still work? No entry for 2, its not allocated to anything.
Thanks
I have managed to break the ARS on our Avaya Index 9, incoming calls to DDI's are mapped to extensions using Pilot numbers, this is working fine for digital extensions starting 3xx but not for analogue extensions starting 2xx? DDI range is 01204 XXX xxx.
This is driving me mad, does anyone know of a way of making incoming calls ring 2 or 3 attendants at the same time, and queue till they are answered? Or queue and hunt out a non busy attendant as they become free?
The calls are coming in from a outside number to a single DDI that represents the reception number, not from the person who she is trying to tranfer to voicemail extension cover path. Will this require an auto attendant?
I think I have looked at that before, will it allow you to specify the particular stations voice mail? i.e Receptionist takes call, caller asks to speak to person, receptionist transfers the call straight into that persons voicemail?
Can someone please help me, I am tryng to set up an autoattendant from scratch, so that our receptionist can transfer calls straight into a stations voicemail instead of having to go via the cover path. Thanks
