yes it is cics software 7.1 and we have changed the trunk card and we have even tried bringing it up without a trunk card. would it complicate anything to put some old 2.0 or 3.0 software in it to see if that is the problem.

i am not sure of the release but the one office that i put in three weeks ago are all new Avaya t-7316e. The other office phones I believe ate the Nortels about 24-30 months old.
Both systems are set to use set volume and they say even after turning volume they don't hear well. Any dip switches on trunk cards or anything you can tell me i would greatly appreciate.
