Hello,
I'm trying to set up a huntgroup using the longest waiting ring mode configuration. There are 6 extensions that are members of the huntgroup. I want to have it ring the person with the longest idle time first and if they don't answer within 15 seconds, it rings the next person with...
A way around that as well is deleting one of the lines from their extension. So that way one line will be designated for calls while the other is designated for transferring calls. If another call comes in while they're on the phone, the call will either go straight to voicemail or whatever...
To help better explain my original post, here's what I was asked to configure with a user's extension. I also forgot to mention that all the users are remote and are using Avaya Communicator/Workplace so I'm unable to program any buttons for them since none are using a deskphone.
Extension...
Hello,
Not sure if this is possible but is it possible to have calls go to a specific destination if the extension that is being called is currently not logged in at all? I know you can set the forward on no-answer setting which will forward the call to a destination if a call is not answered...
I did try that already but it doesn't give me the information I'm looking for. It looks like it exports the configuration of the huntgroup and not the members of it. Here is what the info looks like when looking at it as an example:
ExecSpprt,1813,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,,,,,InService
Hello,
I'm curious if there's a way export a list of extensions that are part of a huntgroup to a csv file? I can't seem to find a way with IP Office Manager or Web manager. The reason I want to do this is because we have a huntgroup set up that we use to page specific extensions for emergency...
MS Teams Support
The IP Office can be configured as the telephony service for calls made to and from Microsoft Teams.
^Has anyone tested that out yet? Just curious what's involved with the Teams integration part of it. I'm not sure if you need Teams Phone System license or anything else like that.
Thanks derfloh. I do understand that you need the Workplace Client to use the plugin. I do have that installed. What I'm having issues with is getting the plugin to work. When I open it up, it asks for me to log in but I'm not sure what credentials it's asking for. I've tried my extension and...
Hello,
I'm currently in the process of seeing if it's possible to integrate Avaya Workplace and Microsoft Teams somehow. Doing some research, I found the Avaya Calling for Microsoft Teams plugin on Avaya's website here...
I've also checked to make sure I have the correct license on my extension. I have a power user license assigned and I have softphone checked off as well. I'm able to use the desktop version of Avaya Communicator no problem. It's just the web version that I'm unable to use as a softphone.
Hello,
I'm trying to use the Avaya Communicator for Web plugin on my computer to test out. I'm able to sign into it no problem but once I try to switch from deskphone to softphone within the plugin itself, Chrome closes down immediately and the plugin closes as well. I've tried using it in Edge...
I know about the DTMF breakout option. I was just hoping it was possible to do create a module in voicemail pro that does it and forward everyone's calls in our customer support group on no answer/busy to that module. That way everyone wouldn't have to rerecord their voicemail greetings and I...
Hello,
I'm trying to set up a greeting in voicemail pro to be played whenever someone doesn't answer their phone after 4 rings. How I envision to set it up is in the beginning of the greeting it'll say the recorded name of the extension being called(ex. John Smith) and then right afterwards...
Hello,
We've recently ran into an issue where any voicemails that are left on any extension are not showing up in user's voicemail inbox. When you call an extension, you're able to hear the user's voicemail greeting and hear the beep to record your voicemail but after you record it and hang up...
I don't have any announcement. After a user puts in their conference port number, it automatically joins them to the conference (or at least it did until we updated to R11). Now it places the external caller on-hold until someone else joins. I would prefer it to not place any callers on-hold but...
I'll try to change the on hold music to have a message in the beginning so that way users aren't as confused by it. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
You're right. I just tested it out and it took me off hold as soon as someone else joined. I'm not used to having the on-hold music play if you're the only person in the conference. It only plays for someone calling in externally. Is there a way we can disable the on-hold music for conference...
The thing that makes no sense to me is that I can join my conference on any extension internally no problem. I tried joining my conference on a completely different extension than my own and it lets me join without putting me on-hold. It only doesn't work when I try to join the conference...
