Hello,
I'm currently in the process of seeing if it's possible to integrate Avaya Workplace and Microsoft Teams somehow. Doing some research, I found the Avaya Calling for Microsoft Teams plugin on Avaya's website here I was successfully able to install it but I can't find any guides anywhere how to go about setting it up. Does anyone have any experience using this plugin and setting it up? Also, has anyone else found a way to integrate Avaya Workplace with Microsoft Teams? Ideally, what I'm trying to do is see if it's possible to sync presence between both apps. So if I'm on call in Teams, it'll show my status as on a call in Avaya Workplace as well and vice versa. Thanks.

Thanks derfloh. I do understand that you need the Workplace Client to use the plugin. I do have that installed. What I'm having issues with is getting the plugin to work. When I open it up, it asks for me to log in but I'm not sure what credentials it's asking for. I've tried my extension and password and I've also tried using my Office 365 credentials and Avaya cloud account credentials but none of them work. After researching everywhere, I can't seem to find any instructions on how to set up the plugin on the backend for everything to work. Attached is what I get when I try to login.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is trying to get some sort of integration between IP Office and Teams so if there are different ways of doing it, please let me know as well. Thanks.

Wait a couple of days until FP2.

What is FP2? I'm not sure what you are referring to.

FP2 = IP Office R11.1 Feature Pack 2 (aka 11.1.2) which is imminent (supposedly today though the software download page still reads as works in progress and the release note isn't out as far as I've seen).

The FP2 release includes support for Teams using the Avaya Calling plug-in with Avaya Workplace or using Teams direct routing and an ASBCE 8.1.3.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Still on R11 here and I have Avaya Assistant from the Teams App store.

This just passes the number to IX Workplace as we don't have Teams calling.
