Hello,
Not sure if this is possible but is it possible to have calls go to a specific destination if the extension that is being called is currently not logged in at all? I know you can set the forward on no-answer setting which will forward the call to a destination if a call is not answered but that setting also applies to if the extension is logged out. I was curious if you could set it to route to two different destinations depending on if the extension is logged in or not. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks.

What have you tried..??

As you stated call forward on no answer works..
Get the person to change it before logging out.

Or forward to a hunt group.
Use OOS to route to a different user when logged out

So you press a programmed button to take group out of service.
Then log out.

If you just want the external calls to be redirected, you can do it via the Incoming Call Routes.
- Program the destination to a group with both users
- Use the replacement destination to match the other phone

To help better explain my original post, here's what I was asked to configure with a user's extension. I also forgot to mention that all the users are remote and are using Avaya Communicator/Workplace so I'm unable to program any buttons for them since none are using a deskphone.

Extension Logged In
1. Call comes into user's extension (internal or external).
2. After 4 rings, it goes to the user's voicemail.

Extension Logged Out
1. Call comes into user's extension.
2. Since the user is logged out, the call goes directly to their respective hunt group they're apart of.

I honestly did not think this was possible to do because you can only program the Forward on No Answer option on the user's extension which applies whether the extension is logged in or out. I was trying to see if there was a way to configure something in voicemail pro to look at the logged on status of an extension and based off the result, forward the call to a specific location but I did not see any of way of doing that. I understand that the user can forward their extension themselves before logging off and I did mention that as a solution but I was told to look into seeing if there was a way to have it route automatically as user's forget to forward their phone a lot before logging off.
