You got it. I will try to provide more info next time.
Although my preference would have been for the DSS/Busy Lamp to work, so that I would know the original call was from the 2nd location shown on a specific key.
The Mobile Extension solution only provides half of the solution. I get the...
Thanks for all the help! I ended up twinning the extension via Mobile Extensions. Now when someone calls the first extnesion the caller info follows to the 2nd phone. As close to a solution as I'm going to get to get caller info on at the 2nd site. Have a great weekend.
Thanks SXWizard, had to turn the feature Off, then back on to get it to work at this site.
Is it possible to configure Multicall across two controllers? When I try to setup a button on a 5340 at Site A with a line from Site B, I receive the following message, “The directory number cannot be...
Voipin - Thought I could get answers from knowledgeable users from the forum (like kwbMitel) prior to spending time testing something that would not work anyways.
LOL, just upgraded to 10.0.1.22, last week and still finding the small changes. Guess I don't need the "Phone App" button now that it is the blue button.

Looking for the programmable button that gives me:
People
Voicemail
Call History
Call forwarding
Conference Unit
Settings
Help
Call Info
Cordless Device
I thought it was the "Phone App" key, looking at my other phones we have it set as "Phone app" on the button.
When I try to set a 5340 programmable key to "Phone App" I receive the error message "A Phone Application Feature must be defined when Phone App Line Type is chosen."
Where do I define the Phone App Line Type?
Ralph and kwbMitel, Thanks for the help!
I configured the voicemail box as a Remote Directory Number at Site A, pointing to the CEI at Site B.
At Site B, I added the mail box as a Single Line key on a phone and created a Telephone Directory Assignment for the mail box.
Now the MWI key I...
Hello kwbMitel,
When I run the maintenance command Locate Number 204 at Site B I get the following return. "The number is not in use."
Also to let you know 204 is a voicemail box only, it is not assigned to any phone. Please let me know if you need any additional info.
I currently administer two sites, each using a Mitel 3300 running MCD 4.0SP1/10.0.1.22. Embedded Voicemail is setup at site A, and all voicemail boxes for both sites are configured at site A.
I need to setup a Message Waiting Indicator for a mailbox on a programmable key at site B. When I try...
Thanks Mitelmatt. I wish that I could have directed the message waiting indicator to a specific extension.
I'm going to try and overflow to an analog extension with an old fashion answering machine. This way the location I need to review messages will have a visual reference when a message is...
We do have tenanting enabled (tried this solution), but we still find that somehow the external MOH source (Live Radio traffic) was played SOMETIMES for on-hold callers or when callers were transfered from our Auto-Attandant, or when transfered from one of our other sites (also using 3300 ICP...
I have a Ring Group with an overflow point set to a station DN. When the ring group is not answered:
-If it is an outside call to the Ring Group (via our auto-attendant), the call will return to the main auto-attendant.
-If it is an internal call to the Ring Group extension, it will...
Hi IrwinMFletcher…
I have a 3300 MXe, not a CX or XCi as kwbMitel assumed. (Sorry for not being too clear about the model.) I do understand "just because it works doesn't make it right." But I also understand that even thought it is not the most efficient method it might work for our needs.
If...
We have a 3300 ICP and currently use set paging on all of our 5340IP phones and have never had a problem. The Background music will not be used on all the phones, just about 5 max (supervisors only). The background music source would not be music. It will be radio (Public Safety and dispatch...
We have about 30 phones at this site. All the phones are vlaned on their own switch port (not shared with the computer). Think we are good with bandwidth. If this is possible that would be GREAT!!!
