Voipin - Thought I could get answers from knowledgeable users from the forum (like kwbMitel) prior to spending time testing something that would not work anyways.
Select "Yes" to display calling line identification on multicall and keyline appearances of directory numbers for SUPERSET display telephones. Select "No" and no information is displayed.
Thanks SXWizard, had to turn the feature Off, then back on to get it to work at this site.
Is it possible to configure Multicall across two controllers? When I try to setup a button on a 5340 at Site A with a line from Site B, I receive the following message, “The directory number cannot be configured as a key appearance because it has already been programmed in a remote node.”
Thanks for all the help! I ended up twinning the extension via Mobile Extensions. Now when someone calls the first extnesion the caller info follows to the 2nd phone. As close to a solution as I'm going to get to get caller info on at the 2nd site. Have a great weekend.
Don't take this the wrong way rtank but next time I recommend you post a question about what you are trying to accomplish rather than posting about the problems you are having with what you believe to be the solution.
For example, your post would have yielded much more useful information if you had asked:
How can I make a phone on a remote system ring and display caller ID info at the same time that a phone rings on the local system?
This way you might learn methods that never occured to you.

Occam's Razor - All things being equal, the simplest solution is the right one.
You got it. I will try to provide more info next time.
Although my preference would have been for the DSS/Busy Lamp to work, so that I would know the original call was from the 2nd location shown on a specific key.
The Mobile Extension solution only provides half of the solution. I get the call information, but I still do not know that it was originating from the first line.
Thanks for spending the time reviewing my question!
