Yes, I know how to restrict it, my point was when it's restricted the agent cannot hit the DN key if not logged in; so therefore if they had to go off hook to log in they would have to hit the DN key since there is not real off hook button on the phone.
After trying different settings I...
Correct, agents not logged in should not be able to dial out so if it requires the phone to be off hook for the In-Calls key to work, then access can't be restricted. Like I said before I'm not familiar with the 1150 so I've been trying different settings on the phone all day and found this...
CS1000 version 5.5 with Sig Server/ latest firmware update downloaded from Nortel's website.
I'm new at configuring the i1150E for ACD agents I have a phone configured but cannot log in, when the 'In-Calls' key is pressed nothing happens it does not give the option to enter a Login ID, I don't...
I would enable it if the option was there, since the reboot of Element Manager that option is gone and since reboot I'm having issues with the firmware downloading to the phones. I think when I figure why that is happeing the option may be available again.
After reset of Sig Server Callers/Redial options are no longer on the phone display or in Telephone options menu. I've tried resetting the phone several times but no change. I don't understand why the CL/RL is such an issue on these phones. If enabling in EM does not fix it then I don't know...
Currently only 8 ip phones are setup, and there is only 1 Signaling Server. I didn't really make any changes to the PD/CL/RL application, unless enabling it in EM is considered a change. I guess I will have to try resetting it to see what happens but I'll have to wait for after hours to do so.
So even if it's working fine on the non IP phones there may still be an issue? If so, what is the difference between the 'callers'/'redial' list on non IP phones and IP phones? I guess I don't fully understand it.
CS1000 release 5.5, with Sig Server - i2004 Firmware ver 0604DCJ; 'I configured the 'Personal Directories' in Element Manager and the 'Callers' and 'Redial' soft buttons now show on the i2004 phones. However, hitting either button will show "creating user please try again". No clue which user...
If I used ProComm to run the script for example, how would I write the remote dialing portion into the script? Or would I have to manually connect everytime and then run the script?
I hear what you're saying, if it was just for my info then that would be cool I'd just print it when I want to see it. But I need to allow other people who are not in the PBX to see it real-time without any manual intervention. So for example if I added 2 DIGITALs or 5 IPs it would auto update...
Is there a real-time tool to monitor license usage and limits for the PBX, CCM, Callpilot etc? I know how to access the information individually, but I was wondering if they could all be monitored real time in one central location.
Although nortel directs us to keep DST unchecked after applying the patch when using NTP, that only worked for 24 hours in my case. My PBX UTC was @ -05:00 needless to say the time was wrong.
After checking the DST box the UTC changed to -04:00 and now the time is correct. I wonder if that...
Running CS1000 version 5.5, The DST patch was applied a couple weeks ago.
DST was updated correctly on Sunday morning; and was fine until 2:15am this morning. I printed the history and found this:
% TIM000 02:00 9/3/2009 CPU 1
%
% DTC010
%
%
% DTC001
%
%
% AUD000
% NTP is not...
Thanks for your help. Not being able to change the label of the primary DN on key 0 sucks. I'm sure Nortel has its reasons, but it would be nice to give us some way to ID that key along with the DN number.
Normally when a 3900 set goes off hook or when a programmed DN key is selected the main LCD area of the phone goes blank. My question is, is it possible to program the phone to display "MAIN LINE" for example, when the DN key is selected instead of just a blank screen? We have users with 2...
