Is there anyway to disable NetEQ on Nortel SoftPhone 2050?. I've done 4 installs and on 2 PCs NetEQ is enabled and on the other 2 it is disabled.(I did not configure that setting while performing the install) I notice that on both PCs where NetEQ is enabled the SoftPhone has problems staying connected to the server. Needless to say the other 2 are fine.

Disable NetEQ on SoftPhone 2050

Thanks for the reply. The version of i2050 I'm using is 3.00.0197 and in advanced audio settings there isn't an option to disable or enable NetEQ. I've tried different settings in advanced audio settings to see if I could get it to disable NetEQ but was unsucessful. I've looked at quite a few settings and tried some things to get it disabled. I have compared settings and matched settings with a PC that has NetEQ disabled but still no luck there. I've also gone into the registry looking for a NetEQ setting but could not find it.

3.01.0062 is on Nortel's website ( under "IP Softphone 2050" and then "Software".

Gwebster I hear what you're saying, I'm not trying to doubt you, but when I go to that website the version that's available is 3.00.0197. I don't know if it's because you're a vendor you get something else but the new version is not there for me. This is what I see: IP Softphone 2050 Release 3.0, Major Release 3.0, Build 197, Released 2008-01-11
