To login you have to go offhook with the headset. Once you go offhook you can press the incalls key and it will then ask your agent ID.

That worked, Thanks JohnThePhoneGuy. So does that mean that access cannot be restricted on the DN for that ACD (RDNA)?

What are you trying to restrict, and who are you trying to restrict?

ie you dont want agents not logged in to use the phone

Correct, agents not logged in should not be able to dial out so if it requires the phone to be off hook for the In-Calls key to work, then access can't be restricted. Like I said before I'm not familiar with the 1150 so I've been trying different settings on the phone all day and found this out: There is an option for 3 different Headset Types, Wired, USB and Bluetooth. If Wired or USD is selected as the headset type I can't use the 'In-Calls' key but if I select Bluetooth then I'm able to use it. I'm Still trying different settings to figure this thing out.

You can still restrict the phone so that the agent has to be logged in to make a DN call. They should not be able to select the DN key when you have it restricted and they would be able to still log in when it is. Its a setting in LD 23 but I forgot which one. if no one else replies I will dig a book out when I get home.

Yes, I know how to restrict it, my point was when it's restricted the agent cannot hit the DN key if not logged in; so therefore if they had to go off hook to log in they would have to hit the DN key since there is not real off hook button on the phone.

After trying different settings I figured out why the In-calls button was not working, if Wired is seleted as the headset type there has to be a headset plugged into the back headset port, and if USB is selected as the headset type there has to be a USB headset plugged into the USB port.
