Okay, well I got another hub (3com), and uplinked it with the linksys router and that seems to working fine. I'll have to test the linksys hub to see if that whats causing the problems. Thanks for the tip though.....
gee, that seems like an easy answer. However the router stiil works, I'm able to connect to the internet through it, do you think that the uplink port and/or port 1 is dead?

No, I was able to install the latest BIOS update, but only with a P2 processor, so there wouldn't be a problem with it freezing during the update. But still the same problem lingers, even with the update.
It's a p3 500 100fsb, the problem is even in safe I have maybe 10 seconds (give or take), to access the BIOS before it freezes up, even in safe mode. So I can't change and save anything.
Unfortunately, there isn't seperate jumpers for the bus speed and multiplier, just 5 dip switches. I've tried reseting the cmos, and tried different P3 processors all at the same speed.
