Hi,
The problem I'm having is with an ASUS P3C-E, in which if I install a Pentium 3 500mhz processor, or a 400 and above celeron processor it will freeze when it starts up. Sometimes it freezes in the BIOS, sometimes it'll load the OS and then freeze. However, if I install a Pentium 2 processor or a low end celeron (333mhz and below), it works fine. I have the jumpers set to handle a CPU frequency 100, and I've tried jumperless mode but to no avail. I'm thinking it's a dead motherboard, but I don't want to give up that quick. Any suggestions?
