This trouble has now been resolved. The problem with the Greetings not working was caused (by the dufus (me)) from assigning the overflow point for the HG to the VM DN.
Thank you Dasheen and Snowman50 for your assist.
Happy New Year.
Yes the AA is set to answer after 4 rings. L61 and 62 are assigned to be answered by the AA. This was working fine and everything is working with the exception of the Company Greeting being skipped.
I installed a BCM50 which worked great for 2 weeks. The calls are supposed to ring in on a hunt grp key(2 sets Loc221 and Loc222),ring 4 times and if unaswered are then answered by the AA. After a few seconds the call then rings back at Loc221 on the intercom key(rings 5 x's)and if not answered...
Here is an update. The GMB is disabled. The MB is 221 and is assigned to 221. I tried a different set(that I know is working properly) and no change. The M7208's are Rel 16 or newer. I tried an M7310 (REL 23)and the MSG shows up correctly. Changed the port and MB to 224 to get her going.
I will...
Good suggestion norstarboy. I am pretty sure that the VM Box is assigned to 221 but I will look at the status of the GD because it may be a conflict if it has somehow become enabled.
Thank you.
Yes the extension is assigned. Everything was working fine until a power outage and the only thing that appears not to be functioning correctly is Local 221 MBox.
Is there a way to reset the Message indicator so that I don't have to do a STARTUP on this CPilot?
I am trying to resolve a problem on a Call Pilot 100 SW 3.1 and a CICS with SW 7.1. The Receptionists set (221) does not indicate a 'Message for you' when there are messages. The message indicator box is enabled. The other users do not have this trouble.
I restarted the Call Pilot and this did...
The CP is set to answr lines after 7 rings. What you are supposed to hear is the Company greeting and then the CCR menu. What you get though is 'The person that you are trying to call is unavailable' and the it goes to the CCR Menu 0. All set programming has been checked to see if any are call...
Upon further investigation, the first 4 lines are on the motherboard and it is decision time....buy a new KSU (Norstar which I like better) or a used D816 Hybrid. The choice now depends on what the customer wants to spend.
There was a bad CO Line position on this unit about 1 year ago so I moved the Line to CO position 3. This worked great....until now.
The customer is experiencing problems with being heard on an outside call. The customer can hear fine.....just the outside caller has a volume problem. This is on...
Thank you cwc3. This solves this problem.
I am a little concerned that since CO1 is now bad, how stable are the rest of the trunks. Are there shared circuits that will now cause a failure in CO3?
I already did that ...see ref to 005 as well as remove line connection (603/604 and 605/606). The problem is that CO1 shows removed in the software but is somehow still there when you check the set. I was successful at removing CO1 from some phones but those connected to jacks 4,7 and 8 are...
I am working on a D816 and am having a problem with the CO lines as well as removing CO 1 from the dig set. For starters CO1 would ring once and then ring trip. Moved the circuit to CO 3 and the line now works fine. I was able to remove CO1 from the set(jacks 1 through 3 and 5 and 6) and can...
I am installing a Startalk Flash 2 on an 8X24 DR5. The problem is that when you F981 a VMB, you get a screeching in your ear. Press a key and it stops. I have performed a connection check, checked that the software is compatible, moved the Flash to another port, done a REINSTALL and started over...
Thanks lugerlover, works fine if you go slow. Heard an echo when I input the digits so that may have been counteracted by going slower. Thanks a million.
