I am working on a QSIG pipe, when the user doesnt dial fast enough it is forwarding the call to the operator instead of giving the fast busy error tone.
Anyone see this before?
I'm not on site right now, someone else who isnt Nortel savy (well less savy then me and I'm not that great) is trying to do what he can to calm the customer down.
I'm going to the site @ 5:00 PM myself.
I was just trying to get an idea of what kind of tests I can run to kind of get an idea if...
* Call forwarding seems to be on but it isnt
* Names are spelled with letters/numbers/characters
* Calls are dropping for no reason
* Cards are restarting
The entire thing is going wacky, I am thinking some serious corruption. Is there any way I can do a database integrity check? Kind of like...
Yea I guess I need to wait for the card, they are giving me a 8 hour window from when the card is plugged in until it goes live so I wanted to see things up but whatever, if they give me that time frame I will do what I can within it.
Thank you!
This what I see when I try to enable the loop (the loop and dch are disabled).

First off, thanks to everyone who has helped me. I touch this stuff once every year or two so it comes back to me but you people save me days of searching.
The customer wanted to:
* Add a second PRI.
* Set up the second PRI a fail over for the first.
This is what I did:

How do I print an exsisting DCH's settings?
How do I find the spare DCH numbers? In LD 22 I can print the ADAN and I see 10, 11 and 12 in use, do I just pick 13 because it isnt used?
I have to program a new PRI T1, the customer wants more trunks in an exsisting route.
I am looking for brief details, something to let me know in specific order which loads to go into and the function of each load. Something such as:
1.) Load xx to program the loop
2.) Load xx to program the...
US Robotics Sportster 33.6
I remember doing that back in the day! How would I do that?
I'm a voice over I.P. IPC tech now and I drabble in Nortel here and there. I have forgot so much.
I am having trouble getting into a switch remotely.
I have the same settings in my CT switch as my MA switch in regards to the SDI/TTY build out and the MA switch is fine while the CT switch is not accessible.
I checked the recent posts and my TTY build outs are perfect. I disabled, enabled...
John,
So your saying turn off the pedestal then the front power supply for each cpu?
Then on power up, hit the pedestal first then the two cpu's at the same time?
As far as commands go I just need to know the msdl commands? I would like to hit the switches and that's it....if there is a way...
I read older topics that were posted, very helpful.
When I power down the pedestal voicemail first. Then the two pedestals, do I flip the switch on the front of each processor shelf for cpu 0 and cpu 1 or is the pedestal switch enough?
Thanks.
So the EDD and BKO back up different files? For example if my switch went down and all I had was the floppies that I do my EDD in 43 onto, I would still be missing info?
I read all of the older posts. I have tried all of the settings known to man with Hyperterminal, my office does not have ProComm Plus.
After trying all types of settings; one of the guys in the office said the past tech had to visit the site and reset the modem and/or port. Did he mean hit...

RTMB (NEW RT NUMBER AND MEMBER)
It seems like I can take my DID trunks and make them handle calls for another route?
