I finally gave up after changing all of the codec settings and called Avaya. The solution they gave me was to update the firmware on the medpro card, so we'll give that a shot and take it from there.
I am unable to send a FAX from a remote site (G700) to the main site (S8500) over a WAN. The FAXes don't come out right or not at all. I understand this has to do with the conversion from TDM - IP and changed the IP-Codec fax field to pass-through, but faxes still won't go through, and ideas?
I did speak to avaya, they said we need to apply patch 42.97, this fixes a probblem with a counter of some sort being stuck. The patch removes the counter. I'm not abbly to use this fix because it requires a Restart System 1, and this is a hospital.
This is a new probblem, testing the INADS link has worked up untill this month, nothing has changed as far as i can tell. here is what error type ll says.
The switch is trying to report alarms to INADS. The test cannot be run at this
time.

Test INADS-LINK, command fails
when I look at the Hardware Error Report for INADS, I get error type 11, the only fix listed is to wait 10 min and try again. I've tried it in 10, 20, and 30 mins. I waited till the next morning after the nightly maintenance, still the command fails. Any ideas?
