Thanks, so effectively blanking key 16 removes the divert too?
I think we tried something like that ages ago & the divert still showed as active but didn't go anywhere. Not that it matters in this case as they just want to stop the calls reaching the mobiles.
Hi,
I've got a couple of phones where the users forwarded them to their mobiles back when working from home for covid first started. They now want these forwards cancelling as they never go into the office to do it themselves. Is there a way of doing this from the switch?
If it's any help this...
Hi,
I suspect the answer to this is no as they are different makes but can the above Cisco phone be added on a CS1k Nortel system?
One of the sites we support have purchased the phone without asking us & are now asking for it to be configured.
Thanks,
Sorry for the slow update.
I've done as you suggest with the forwards & put both extensions on the same voicemail in callpilot as there is typically one receptionist so it's easier for her to keep track.
Thanks for the help.
I've got a physical digital set x1700 with voicemail setup on callpilot.
The user wants x1700 to divert to x1752 if busy & then to x1700's VM if both lines are busy.
I think I need to use a hunt group to achieve this, but I can't think quite how it'd need setting up as I've not done one for...
tbonz25,
I was looking at that myself, having not checked back here for a few days. We do have DHCP option 128 pushing the sig servers for the other system, but I'm assured that's always been in place so I can't see why it's causing an issue now.
As a test I removed it from my local switch &...
tbonz25,
I set S1/S2 to 192.168.217.2 and 192.168.52.2 which are the primary & secondary on the system I want to connect the phone too. It however keeps defaulting to a S1 of 192.168.130.33 which is the other system.
Gluker,
I don't have control of the other system and this has always worked...
I've got a bit of a strange one here, it's happened on a few sets now and I'm not aware of any changes made that might relate to this.
The phones stop working and come up with InvalidTN. When I dig into it the S1 & S2 keeps resetting to our other phone system's server, I reset this correctly...
I couldn't get anything to run on the SBO as I logged in to get a Linux BASH prompt, which I'm not familiar with at all. So I run those commands on the primary CS1K which gave the following.

Hi,
I presume by checking cards installed I can see if a site will support DECT phones, but I don't know how to do this. I don't think the site does but I wish to confirm this is the case.
I'd be grateful for any advice on this as I'm failing to find how to do it on google.
I don't know how I could do anything with the GHT. I thought I'd need to enter the PLDN to identify it no matter if it was editing or OUTing?
I've not done much with GHTs, so I might well be missing something obvious.
...I edit the TN I get the following -
REQ: chg

TN 100 1 9 13
ECHG yes
ITEM key 00 scr 2705

If I print my GHT I get -

Hi,
I'm sure I used to know this but I can't recall how to setup a group of phones so that out of hours all the messages end up on a single callpilot VM.
It's something as simple as adding all the phones to the same Callpilot VM mailbox isn't it? That way all the messages are in the same...
To update this, I've found time to do some testing & 2002P2s can only display 17 characters, as soon as I set a name longer than that (including the comma) the name doesn't display.
ie 'Christy,Hethering' works but 'Christy,Hetheringt' doesn't.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction...
