Cisco conference phone model 8831 on CS1k?

Hi,

I suspect the answer to this is no as they are different makes but can the above Cisco phone be added on a CS1k Nortel system?

One of the sites we support have purchased the phone without asking us & are now asking for it to be configured.

That's an IP Phone more than likely a SIP device. Do you have SIP Line licenses and a configured signal server?

I know we use SIP, I couldn't tell you any details though.

Look at your SLT in ld 22. You should have SIP Access and SIP, Avaya SIP Lines and Third Party SIP Line.

I asked our 3rd party support to look at this & they said 'no'.

So thanks for the advice guys, but I'm not even going to try it.
