    OK, one more quick stupid question. So there is no way the upgraded acs processor will revert back to being r3.0? if the power goes out / the batteries in the unit go dead - the memory won't reset to the R3.0 or theres no chance of it doing that? I just don't want to lose the upgrade...

    The first modem has always held the place of COM 4. When I first installed the 2nd modem, it by default started as COM 3, as one of the things I tried to do while I was playing around with it I also moved it up to COM 12 just so it was way out of the range of anything else. Still had no luck.
