Spell check in Word 2007 with mail merged doc

Ah. I understand. Thank you. The problem is that we often have to make changes to individual letters after they have been merged. Should i just uncheck the box for these particular letters? Is there another way around this by design feature?

Spell check in Word 2007 with mail merged doc

ha. true. but i don't know why spell check gets turned off by default. is there a way to change the settings so it doesn't turn off in the first place? is there a way to make it so i don't have to go into the review section and uncheck that box?

Spell check in Word 2007 with mail merged doc

Hi there, When I merge a letter, spell check no longer seems to work. Errors are not picked up even if manually run spelling and grammar check. I tried going to Review and unchecking the "Do not check spelling or grammar." This box is slightly shaded in because some of the text includes...

Generic toner versus name brand toner advice

I don't know but will check into that. He says he can provide maintenance and toner for what we pay for toner now. Does that seem too cheap? I guess they can save money with the toner. Thanks for your thoughts.

Generic toner versus name brand toner advice

Hello all, A maintenance company is offering to support the HP printers we have, with us taking on no additional costs. They will pay for the toner and fix the printers if they break down. The cost of this service is essentially what we pay now for toner. The difference is that they will use...

    slow color printer

Thank you both for your thoughts. I haven't noticed speed issues for other types of documents, just the PDFs and Quark files. We tried changing the switch that it plugs into. The old one was really old and was a 10 base T. The new one is a 10/100. It seems to help a bit. We'll continue testing...

    slow color printer

Hello all, We've been having a problem printing multiple copies of an 11 x 17 document on a Color LaserJet 5500tn. The original is a Quark file. But it processed for so long, we tried converting it to a PDF and printing that. That works better but it is still so painfully slow it isn't working...

printing full bleed on 11 x 17 HP Color LJ 5500n

Thanks for the link to that article. Someone helped me figure out that the HP Color Laserjet 5500n can print up to 12 x 18, making it possible to trim the paper down to 11 x 17, thereby making it seem like a full bleed. A shame, but good to know. Thank you! ~ Katy

printing full bleed on 11 x 17 HP Color LJ 5500n

Hello, I've seen it advertised that our Color LJ 5500n will print to full bleed on 11 x 17 paper. However, I can't figure out how to make it do this. Can anyone help? Thank you!

    Corrupted font

Hi all, We have the Futura font installed on some of our Windows XP computer. On one of the computers, the font got corrupted and now only shows up in Italics. I cannot delete the font or move the font out of the folder. I cannot reinstall the font because the corrupted font is still in the...

Loading printer on server vs. locally

Is there a reason we should only load one way or the other? i find that with WXP if we load them by copying from the server they only show up for that user. However, if i install it as the administrator and create the TCP/IP port, then the printer shows up for each user on the computer. Is there...

Loading printer on server vs. locally

Okay. now i know where we are. We load the printers both ways depending on who uses the computer. My question is could it be the fact that we load the XP driver on the server? The thought process is that if we "move a copy" from the print server then the driver should be for the XP machines...

Loading printer on server vs. locally

I understand the hands on angle. i have a hard time explaining what i do with words as well at times. One point of confusion I suffer from is if I load the definition for the Server, and then i network the printer to that definition, it no longer is the appropriate driver. How does this work...

Loading printer on server vs. locally

hi david, Yes, I still have the CDs, but i was thinking for this new server, i should install the most up to date drivers. perhaps i should try installing the drivers that on are on the CD. Do you know if it matters that the operating system on the servers is different then on the desktops...

Loading printer on server vs. locally

Hello DTracy, This is the network definition (i think). it is the printer driver that is installed on a server that we direct the printers to. We took the driver from the hp website. It doesn't appear to matter if it is a PCL driver or a PS driver- we have the same problem. One of the drivers...

Loading printer on server vs. locally

Thank you for replying. Under the Advanced tab> Paper/ Output I only have the option "Copy Count." i don't have the option to choose the desired form. I feel like something is missing from this driver. Any thoughts?
