    I did try netstat -rn and it is instant response. netstat -r is a drag and extremly slow, if I do see any output at all.

    Thanks! I should have been more specific when I asked for listing files with specific extension. The above syntax does work but gives you absolute path listing of the file extension searched for. I would like to see a listing similar to ls -l with all the proper attributes. v
