Hey Guys,
I am working through a headache here with SIP Trunks. I currently have a SIP Trunk configured on IP Office 9.x with an ITSP Domain Name IP pointing to a Brekeke SIP server tha handles phone calls with a hospital nursecall system to Spectralink handsets. We are now virtualizing a fax...
We are running IP Office 9.0 Server Edition with 2 Control Units. We have a batch of 3rd Party IP (Spectralink 8440) phones to add to the system. When I purchased the 3rd Party IP license from the local Telco, I can add the licenses to the Server and they will show valid, but if I try to add...
Thanks guys for the advice. Come to find out, the way we have our system laid out with 2 control units. A user on Control Unit 1 cannot pickup a second line on a phone that is on Control Unit 2. We are going to have to shift phones around for the additional call appearances to be seen.
Each phone has 3 line appearances (a=,b=&c=). I setup the group with the collective and sequential calls disabled so each individual user is added to the group but the check boxes are off as I didn't want the calls to ring any difference. All phones are the 9504 digital lines. The button...
I am struggling to find how we can get our Call Pickup groups to be able to grab a call from a second or third line. If we have a user talking on line 1 and someone else calls, the Call Pickup does not work unless line 1 is put on hold first? Is there a setting that controls this to where if I...
I read through the other post but it doesnt go into detail on the shortcodes. I am still unclear as to where to define the zone in the shortcode setup.
We are setting up an IP Office system to page to a Bogen Zone paging Module. We setup an analog extension and a paging user with the DialPage shortcode of *5. The problem is that the shortcode gets to the Bogen and we can page but it goes out to all speakers. How do we set this up so that we...
We have some projects in the future with Nurse Call systems and also Physician dictation that may require SIP lines. We had a Nortel Option 11c for 10 years and I wanted to buy everything we could even if it was somewhat overkill so we could have options in the future for whatever we would want...
What type of phones do you have? 9504 & 9508
How many phones do you have? About 150 digital and 90 analog
What type of trunks do you have? Not sure on the type of trunks. We have 2 control units to spread the extensions out on for somewhat of a failover. each CU has its own PRI
How many...
In your response to if I know what I am doing the answer is no. I am an IT Director for a hospital that bought a large system from our local telco for small town political reasons. They dropped off a bunch of boxes and I havent really seen them since so I have been getting this setup based off...

Is there a way to change the type of control unit on the IP 500 v2 Control Unit? I just noticed as I was building out a new system that the control unit has 2 expansions plugged into the internal ports on the front along with the PRI. They are both DS (1-8) 700417330 parts that have 12 digital...
This is basic as requested but I ran into the same issue when first getting Call Pilot App Builder up and running and come to find out it was a simple Windows Firewall issue. Make sure it is turned off. Check locally on your machine and also on the Call Pilot server to make sure it is off. May...
When we tested this, the line was not busy we just pulled the line from the PBX punch down so that explains the infinite ring lacking the FDN. I will try to add the FDN again. The first time I tried this I used easy chge in LD11 but when trying to enter FDN **** i received a scherror code...
I have 3 analog lines that are part of a Nursecall system for our hospital. If one line is tied up with a patient/nurse, the calls then need to hunt to line 2, then line 3 and back to 1 creating the group loop until an open line is found. For some reason when line 1 is off hook/busy, the call...
come to find out that when the Local telco switched our incoming line to fiber, their new equipment had a long distance access code assigned. It was on the phone company end not ours.
