Thanks much for the M22 idea CL.
As you suggested, when I tried to abandon the headset port, it did work to record both headset and handset with no issues.
However, I have to lift the handset manually first when making/receiving a call, and then press the Poly SAVI's headset button to then use...
Have an Avaya 9408 digital phone connected to a Dynametric phone handset audio logger.
Looking for ideas on how to add in a headset (Poly SAVI 7220) so Dynametric can record audio from both handset and headset.
Basically want to combine the headset and handset audio into the Dynametric, but...
Thanks much for testing that bignose21!
But looks like you have assign a button group 3's dial code entry (your e.g. uses DC 01) in order to use abr-prog to change that entry.
But if I wanted to change say DC 02, which doesn't have a programmed button, then I'm not able to looks like? And if...

Hi AvayaTier3,
Yes setting station's button to abrv-dial List:2 DC:02 works to call that number.
And also using FAC *82 works (*82 02) to call the number programed for group 3's DC 02.
However, I can't get it to work when trying to reprogram (change) the group 3's DC 02 phone number entry...
The *82 02 worked to successfully call list 3's Dial Code 02 entry, yep.
But when trying to program the list 3's DC 02 entry to a new number, I still get waved off...
*80 02 95 (wave off)
*80 2 (wave off)
Need help please figuring out how to program abbreviated dialing group list 3's dial code 02...keep getting waved off.

Is it possible to set up, for all incoming calls on your DIDs, a way to filter for a specific set of ANIs (calling numbers), so that they are sent directly to voicemail of the specifically called DID, but any other ANI is allowed through to the extension?
We have CM 6 and have played around with...
Thank you bignose21.
So what would be the process to turn it on though?
Contact Avaya, purchase/install license and then do a change system-parameter features and toggle to 'y'?
I don't seem to have VDN or vector variables. I'm using CM 6 (SOFTWARE VERSION: R016x.03.0.141.0) and I've seen other posts using vector variables like V1 to V9. And yet other posts that use commands like "change variable". I get an error for Command: change "var" is an invalid entry; please...
Aloha randycarroll,
Good news! You idea worked perfectly.
I first looked at the COR of the PRI trunk group:
disp trunk-group 161 and noted the COR as being 16.
I then made a new COR for the group paging:
change cor 174
I then went to each group=page and updated their COR to the new one:
change...
Thanks Randycarroll.
Should I create a new COR and change the paging numbers to that new COR?
How would I restrict external incoming calls on that new COR then?
Thanks!
Thanks for the response AvayaTier3.
Can I easily change the current numbers to non-DIDs then?
Would I then have to reprogram the stations though?
Thanks!
What's the easiest way to block incoming external numbers from calling my speakerphone paging groups below?

Hi Joe2938, after researching how to do the steps I did the following:
(1) Added a vdn:
add vdn 19082439119
VECTOR DIRECTORY NUMBER
Extension: 1908.243.9119
Name*: OGG Manager VM VDN
Destination: Vector...
Thanks Joe2938.
Sorry, that sounds complicated to me.
Can I instead just make point 3 a voicemail hunt group?
We already have a h99 we use in coverage paths for sending calls to voicemail.
But will it go to x9120's voicemail though?
Thanks!
