Thx shatch , But it is not a read only file. It can be opened & saved in normal windows environment but not in Intranet.

I am using IIS6 + office 2003. All the documents in intranet by default open as read only. If I click save as, I can save the file to that folder. So, it should not be permission problem, right? Hope you guys can help. Thx.

How about if user open & run several applications at the same time? Still consume around 30K? Or double if open 2 applications?
